Home Condition Survey Masterclass

Home Condition Survey Masterclass

This one day masterclass focuses on inspection techniques and recording methods and includes an inspection of a real property as well as practical exercises at the training venue. The afternoon concentrates on producing the report, followed by a full discussion on all aspects of the report, including applying condition ratings. There is ample time for your questions and comments.

These events are designed for all residential surveyors – experienced, newly qualified and trainees – who carry out or want to carry out condition reports for home buyers and sellers. All surveyors are welcome but the emphasis will be on the condition reporting.

Previous attendees have said:

Just a quick note to say thank you to you and NHER for organising another very worthwhile day. I’ve never come away from a Master Class without having learned a bit more. Many of us lead fairly isolated working lives and it’s good to see how others conduct themselves and admitting they don’t know it all – none of us does!

What Equipment Do I Need?

  1. Inspection kit for the property visit
  2. Laptop (if you are unable to bring a laptop to the course, please inform the training team as we may have a training laptop you can borrow for the day)

Objective

Refresh your skills and stay up-to-date by attending the HCS Masterclass, and earn six hours of CPD in the process. This course is a great way to enhance your surveying and inspection skills and gain confidence in diagnosing defects and applying correct condition ratings.  It also gives you a rare opportunity to discuss Home Condition Surveys and to share tips and experiences with other surveyors.
