We are pleased to announce that NES has now received full approval from the Environment Agency to offer training, assessment and membership for ESOS Lead Assessors.
ESOS is the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme and requires large ‘undertakings’ in the UK to undergo a mandatory assessment of their energy use. Businesses will then have the opportunity to improve their energy efficiency across their sites by 5th December 2015, and then on-going every 4 years thereafter. Please click here for further details.
The set-up of the training and associated scheme are a little different to our usual offerings in that all applicants have to complete a pre assessment application form and be approved to do the training. Applicants must hold the DEC qualification or the Non Domestic Green Deal Advisor qualification and have at least 2 years’ experience in a role or project within a professional energy assessment and/or energy auditor environment relevant to PAS51215.
Our first training course will take place from 18th-19th March and this is priced at a special introductory rate of £995 + VAT (plus the pre assessment and membership fees). Please click here for further details.
Once an applicant passes the training and assessment they will become a Lead Assessor and will be eligible to become a member of our ESOS Scheme. This scheme has similar obligations to our other schemes in terms of audits, CPD, and renewals and we will provide further details about how this works once you become approved.
If you are interested in finding out more about the training, please call our training team on 01908 442240 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
