Sava provides education, technology and professional services to help look after the UK’s 29 million homes.

Sava is looking for a dynamic ambitious apprentice interested in an exciting career in online education development. The successful applicant must have an eye for detail and a willingness to understand how people learn. Training is provided however a proactive attitude and enjoyment of learning new software is crucial. As an Assistant Education Technologist, you will work as part of the busy development team at Sava, Milton Keynes.   

Working closely with the Lead Education Technologist, you will be a key part of creating, maintaining, and updating learning content and our Moodle platform. 

This role offers excellent job variety in a small, friendly, and innovative team that supports customers on various qualifications designed to help make buildings better, principally through increasing skills and knowledge. 

GCSEs including English, Maths and IT (Grade A* – C / 9 – 4) would be an advantage and applicants must be 18 years or above.

This role is office-based from our headquarters in Milton Keynes.

You will have some experience or aspiration to learn and develop skills in: 

  • Administering a Virtual Learning Platform. 
  • Using a range of video editing software, course authoring tools, AI software, and other education creator software, to create engaging and interactive learning material. 
  • Supporting functional delivery for both digital and blended learning 
  • Experience of using or creating learning resources. 
  • Communication skills to engage with internal and external customers, and colleagues.

Remuneration

The annual salary for this Assistant Education Technologist role will be £19k. Sava will fund your apprenticeship which will run for the duration of 18 months. Whilst employment beyond this period cannot be guaranteed, we will ways endeavour to find a permanent role for the right candidates should a position be available.
