About Sava and the role

Sava provides education, technology and professional services to help look after the UK’s 29 million homes.

We’re a team of 35 based in Milton Keynes and we now have a new opportunity for an administrator to join the team working across our Marketing and Training departments. If you have an interest in developing your career and providing support across the business in a varied role we would love to hear from you.

Previous marketing or training experience is not necessary, but it is vital that you have a high level of organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks to specific deadlines.

GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade A* – C / 9 – 4) with an IT qualification would be an advantage and applicants must be 18 years or above.

This role is office-based from our headquarters in Milton Keynes.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • A great work ethic where you bring your whole self into the role and where you derive personal satisfaction from delivering a great service to our customers
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly spelling, grammar and the need for consistency in communications
  • A desire to really understand our business – for instance what we sell and deliver to our customers and why they choose Sava
  • A friendly, approachable and professional manner
  • Excellent communication, IT and organisational skills
  • Be an enthusiastic and committed team player who will work well with the team’s key customers and stakeholders
  • An eye for detail with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

What you’ll be doing as Team Administrator

This role presents a great opportunity to work in a team and gain experience. You need to be someone who is happy to get stuck into any task and also suggest new ideas. It is therefore possible to grow with the role, but to start with you will be undertaking the following tasks:

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, events and webinars
  • Assist with event management
  • Send emails using MailChimp
  • Update mailing lists
  • Schedule training activities and ensure all parties have dates planned in their diaries
  • Monitor and respond to email and telephone queries and general training queries, raising concerns to your manager when required
  • Organise training materials and resources.

Experience of using MailChimp and/or HubSpot is an advantage but not a necessity.
