Why you need this

Making the transition from providing Level 1 or 2 Surveys to Level 3 can be daunting. Level 3 is the highest level of non-invasive survey most residential surveyors offer and they require a good level of technical knowledge. Many surveyors gain this technical knowledge and experience over time to then apply it to a building, but what is often lost is a thorough grasp of how to take what they have learnt and produce a report that is truly useful to a client.

If you are looking to take the first step towards producing Level 3 Surveys or if you already offer them but want to make sure you are producing the best reports you can, then this session is for you.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course you will:

  • Understand the RICS Home Survey Standard requirements for a Level 3 Survey
  • Be able to identify when you should recommend a Level 3 Survey
  • Know how to carry out a Home Survey Standards compliant inspection for a Level 3 Survey
  • Have basic knowledge of how to write a Home Survey Standard compliant report for a Level 3 Survey
  • Have a basic understanding of how to report on energy matters, climate change risk and sustainability in a Level 3 report
