Celebrating Our Graduates: Sava-Trained Surveyors Shortlisted in RICS Matrics Surveyor Awards 2025.

We’re delighted to share that two Sava surveying graduates have been shortlisted for the RICS Matrics Surveyor Awards 2025, recognising their achievements, commitment, and contributions to the profession.
Nasir Iqbal – Residential Surveyor of the Year (Shortlisted)
Sava graduate Nasir Iqbal has been named one of six finalists for the prestigious Residential Surveyor of the Year award – and this is the second year in a row he’s earned a place on the shortlist.
Nasir’s continued success is a testament to his talent, dedication and drive, and we’re incredibly proud to have been part of his journey into the profession. His career continues to go from strength to strength, and his recognition at this level reflects the real impact he’s making in the industry.
Nasir commented:
“I am truly honoured to be nominated as Residential Surveyor of the Year for the second year running. This recognition means a great deal to me, not just personally, but as a reflection of the hard work and passion I bring to the profession every day. I am especially proud to represent greater diversity within the surveying industry and hope it encourages others from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue this path. Training with Sava laid the foundation for my journey, and I’m grateful for their continued support.”
Edd King – Mentor of the Year (Shortlisted)
Fellow Sava graduate Edd King has been shortlisted for Mentor of the Year, highlighting his outstanding support for aspiring surveyors. Since qualifying through the Sava Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation, Edd has gone on to secure a role with McCluskey Surveyors in Devon, where he continues to give back to the surveying community.
Edd is known for his generosity with his time and knowledge, offering advice, guidance, and mentoring opportunities to those just starting out in their careers. His shortlisting is well deserved and reflects the collaborative spirit that helps the profession thrive.
We’re excited to see our graduates shaping the future of residential surveying – not only through their professional success, but by lifting others up along the way.
Congratulations to both Nasir and Edd. We’ll be cheering you on at the awards!
The winners will be revealed at the RICS ceremony on 14th November 2025.
