Sava awarded Highly Commended at the 2021 Built Environment Awards.
The 58th Chartered Association of Building Engineers conference took place this month at DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes, another great opportunity for the industry to get back to face-to-face events. Considering sustainability, inclusivity, and the future impact of today’s construction, the two-day event included keynote speeches from CABE President Stewart McArthur, Chief Inspector of Buildings at HSE Peter Baker, and Dame Judith Hackitt discussing the ‘Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety’ and how the industry should be driving a culture change.
Alongside Elmhurst Energy, RPSA, and Quadrant building control, Sava exhibited at the two-day conference as partners of CABE which was followed by the 2021 Built Environment Awards. The CABE Built Environment Awards are a marker of industry standards, giving building engineers the recognition for excellence and ingenuity that they deserve. The Sava team, consisting of Austin Baggett, Hilary Grayson, Helen Orme, Lisa Blake, Alys Brown and Darren Walker were joined by Alison and Neil Cutland for the black-tie evening where we were presented with the Highly Commended award for Digital Transformation. Sava were recognised for our software solution Intelligent Energy and the work we do with social housing providers. The category recognised companies that were leaders in developing digital technologies which have a positive impact on building performance and reflect the increasing pace of change of digital technologies within the construction industry.
Congratulations to the team at Sava for continuing to drive innovation through the development of our digital solution Intelligent Energy, and for the guidance it gives to social housing providers to help them plan building improvements for a carbon zero future.
