A testimonial from a Sava Graduate.
Jamie Shears is a 2021 Sava Graduate who previously had been working as an IT Manager in the horse racing industry and continued in this role throughout the course. Below you can read about his experience studying the Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation.
“I would definitely recommend the Sava Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation as a route into the profession. The course content and structure is excellent and the training provided by the course tutors, who are all practising surveyors was really enjoyable. The training team have provided help and support throughout the process and are always on hand to answer any questions. Overall I have really enjoyed the course and found it to be a rewarding experience and one which I would highly recommend to anyone considering a career change.”
We asked Jamie what it is in particular which drew him to the Sava Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation, he answered “As finances dictated that I was unable to study full time, I liked the idea of the part time study option, whilst continuing to work full time and also fit my studies around my family life. I thoroughly researched the course and spoke to previous graduates who recommended the diploma as a really worthwhile course and a well respected route into the profession.”
We asked Jamie what are his plans now that he has qualified, he responded “The qualification is a well-respected, sought after means of producing surveyors ready to start working immediately after qualifying. I am delighted to be starting a role with White Horse Surveyors”.
