What is a Residential Surveyor?

  • A residential surveyor deals with all aspects of residential property – principal activities are related to the management, purchase, sale, or leasing of land and property, as well as valuing and surveying property.
  • You’ll be able to undertake RICS HomeBuyer Reports for clients, as well as the Sava Home Condition Survey, and in Scotland the Single Survey.
  • You can undertake property valuations, not only for banks, but also for probate, divorce and investment purposes.
  • You can expand your opportunities into more specialist surveys and other building types.

What is the Diploma?

The Diploma is a unique vocational way to become a residential surveyor, creating skilled surveyors with deep knowledge of building construction, pathology and valuation.

  • It's vocational meaning you're taught real life skills - so when you finish you'll be ready to start your career and start earning fees
  • You gain direct entry into the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) at Associate member level
  • Study is part time, and can be completed in 24 months so you can complete it whilst continuing to work in your current job
  • We have 4 courses intakes remaining in 2018 - Milton Keynes, Wales, York and Southampton
  • The investment required is £13,950 (inc. VAT) and there are a number of payment options available
