This qualification covers the principles of how English law is made. If we are unaware of the law-making process, we may not fully understand our rights and responsibilities under the law, which could lead to unwittingly violating laws or failing to assert our rights. The qualification covers the characteristics of English Law, the sources of law, and how legal rights can be enforced.
